Verification & Screening Protocol:
This verification and screening process is a one-time security protocol for all new clients. This simple protocol ensures the safety, compatibility and well-being of both parties, particularly given the real-world risks that a trans woman can face nowadays.
It verifies identity, confirms that all information is accurate and screens the background to ensure the client has no history of concerning behaviour, misconduct or formal legal convictions, helping to build trust before the date.
Required items:
You will need to provide a clear, high-resolution selfie of yourself holding a valid government-issued ID.
For Canadian clients:
Driver’s license, Photo ID or Passport
For international clients:
Passport (both front and back pages)
All materials are to be emailed to: screen@transtoronto.net

There is a specific way to take this photo to ensure it is accepted the first time, in order to avoid resubmissions.
Photo Guidelines:
• Look straight at the camera
• Use a light or neutral background
• Selfie must be in color
• No red eyes
• No glasses or sunglasses
• No hats or headbands
• High-resolution image
• You can only block your address, I don’t need this information.
• Ensure all information is clearly visible and readable
